That is the exact type of work I enjoy doing. I am an experienced bookkeeper working with local nonprofits and small businesses and I understand the struggles small organizations face when managing their finances. I have helped other organizations clean up years of errors and unmaintained records, manage payables and receivables, track grants, manage payroll, and other bookkeeping needs. I want to take these tasks out of your already busy schedule to help you find ways to save money and to focus on serving your community and growing your business.

Running for office is a huge undertaking on it's own, but it's becoming increasingly more difficult for grassroots committees and candidates to make an impact in electoral races. With all the work and time you will be spending campaigning, strategizing, and reaching out to voters, compliance and finance is the last thing you want to worry about. I have been a campaign treasurer in Spokane for local City Council, State Representative, and Congressional campaigns. Giving me the experience of navigating both State and Federal compliance law. I handle everything from contribution and receipt tracking to submitting required reports on time. Helping you stay fully compliant with PDC and FEC financial regulations. I want to help save your campaign valuable time, allowing you to stay focused on your message and your voters.

My name is Chris, I have been in Spokane for most of my life and live here with my husband and our two exceptional cats. I work in emergency services, collect plants, spend time outside and with friends, and I help local organizations with their finances. I’ve always believed that Spokane's community is at its best when our local nonprofits and grassroots organizations have the support they need to continue providing amazing work they do every day.
I started my bookkeeping career as a Treasurer for Spokane Pride, a local nonprofit organization. Through that volunteer work I discovered a true passion for bookkeeping and accounting. There was nothing better than an accurate and reconciled ledger. This inspired me to go back to school where I acquired a Bachelors Degree in accounting. I stepped down as treasurer of Spokane Pride, while I attended school, but I have remained their dedicated bookkeeper.
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to become the bookkeeper for other wonderful local Spokane nonprofit organizations like Spectrum Singers and Greenplay Northwest. I have provided bookkeeping consulting services to Solar Washington. I’ve enjoyed working alongside a local small speech therapy business, Chomper Champs. And I’ve stepped into the world of politics as a campaign treasurer for local, state, and federal campaigns.
Whether it's a small business or a community-run campaign, I know that your passion is your mission and not necessarily your receipts and reports. My mission is to take the stress of duties out of your day and for you to trust that your organizations finances are being handled with experience and care, by providing exceptional bookkeeping services in Spokane and the surrounding areas.
